FLORAL DESIGN

The Club boasts several floral design experts who offer floral design workshops for the home and to prepare for the flower shows that we present every three years.  Through these workshops our members learn how to create beautiful floral arrangements using a variety of different design techniques and plant materials.  These arrangements can range from oversized, lavish designs that compliment a foyer to simple centerpieces for the kitchen table. Several of the Club’s members are NYBG Certified Floral Designers and National Flower Show Judges, which means that they are some of the best floral designers around. They are more than happy to teach, guide and encourage budding designers.

Club members are invited to enjoy a fun and relaxing evening at one of our very popular “Wine and Design” workshops, where different floral design techniques are demonstrated at each session.  Some examples of recent workshops include:

  • Modern Trends: Color Blocking and Color Waves
  • Hand-Tied Bouquets
  • Season’s Bounty
  • Line Arrangements
  • Miniatures
  • Holiday Themed Arrangements
